A common problem often encountered in ICT suite installations is constant power tripping that requires a manual reset of the residual current device (RCD). This is normally because the designer of the circuit has not taken the earth leakage levels of ICT equipment into account. For this reason we often split these circuits into smaller ones to lower the earth leakage levels below the tolerance of the RCD.

We can design power systems to support basic IT suites or clusters of workstations up to data-centre standard server room installations. RTS installations comply with IET (Institute of Engineering and Technology) regulations and are certified for compliance in accordance to BS7671:2008.
